How do I make videos with Claude?

Add the Dreamz connector to Claude (the Claude app or claude.ai), or the Dreamz plugin to Claude Code, and ask your Claude for the film in one sentence. Your Claude plans it, writes and checks every prompt, shows the price and waits for your yes, makes a small first take, looks at it before you do, and finishes the film in every size. Everything runs on your own provider keys.

Can Claude make videos?

Claude on its own writes and reasons; it does not render filmed-looking video. It can write code that draws animation (motion graphics, slides, charts), and it can write prompts for a video engine. To get real shots, a voice, music and a finished edit without leaving Claude, you give Claude the tools for it. Dreamz is those tools: a film studio inside your own Claude.

Set it up in four steps

  1. Make your account at dreamz-studios.com/claude/start (7 days free).
  2. In Claude (the Claude app or claude.ai), add a custom connector with the address https://dreamz-studios.com/mcp and sign in.
  3. Add your keys on your keys page: Anthropic (required) and a video provider such as KIE. Google Gemini is optional.
  4. Ask your Claude for the film in one sentence.

With Claude Code, install the plugin instead (it adds memory of your clients and keeps your files on your computer):

What happens when you ask for a film

  1. The brief. Your Claude asks only what it needs: what the film is for, how long, which format, what must be seen and said.
  2. The plan. For a whole film it writes a screenplay and a shot list and stops for your approval before anything is made.
  3. The prompts. Each prompt is written and checked against a playbook for the engine it goes to, rules learned on real renders.
  4. The price. Every paid step shows its price first and waits for your yes in the chat.
  5. A small first take. Takes are made at 480p first, so a wrong take costs little.
  6. An eye on every take. Your Claude looks at the frames, says plainly what is wrong and re-takes only that.
  7. Finishing. Titles, captions, logo, voice, music, and every size (vertical, square, wide), up to 4K for the take you keep.

What it costs

Generation runs on your own provider keys: each provider bills you directly, at its own price, and Dreamz adds no markup. The Dreamz plan is 7 days free, then $200 a month. One person. Cancel any time. Nothing paid runs without your yes.

Do I need Claude Code to make videos with Claude?

No. The whole studio works in the Claude app and on claude.ai through the Dreamz connector. Claude Code adds the Dreamz Brain (memory of you and your clients in plain files on your computer) and local finishing.

Which video engines does it use?

Video takes run on Seedance through your own provider (KIE, BytePlus or fal). Dreamz keeps written playbooks for 22 engines, so a prompt is checked for the engine it goes to. You can also bring a file made in any other app and finish it in Dreamz.

Will it spend money without asking?

No. Every paid step shows its price first and waits for your yes in the chat.

How long does a take take?

Your Claude checks on the take while it renders and looks at it when it is ready.
